For BAVA practices at all facilities:           
- BAVA will make the decision to hold or cancel practices when there is inclement weather.          
- The decision will be emailed out to the teams and posted on the BAVA website.      
- The decision will be made by 3:30pm for Monday-Friday practice days and by 11am for Sunday practices.

For tournaments:      
- The decision to hold/cancel/delay/early dismiss a tournament due to inclement weather is at the discretion of the tournament host.      
- Decisions to cancel are usually made by 6am on the day of a tournament.      
- Your coach will be notified by the tournament director, then will send an email/text/call team members.      
- Due to the early nature and team-specific nature of tournament decisions, the information will not make it on to the website.

The decision to delay or cancel a tournament due to weather comes from the tournament host, not BAVA and not CHRVA. Sometimes we get communication leading up to the tournament from the host and sometimes we don’t. 

Most often, the tournament host makes the decision the morning of the tournament between 5-6am and sends an email to BAVA and the coaches. If we receive any emails about decisions from the tournament hosts, we will pass it along as soon as possible. But, assume the tournament is on as scheduled if you hear nothing. If the tournament is on, but we feel it is unsafe for our team(s) to travel, we will make a separate decision and send that information on as well.

If inclement weather happens and the tournament has already started, the tournament host may make a decision to modify the format or end early.
