Payment Information

Costs for the 2011 season will be posted in the fall.


Items included in the total cost
* uniforms and practice ball
* tournament registrations
* practice facility rental
* hotel expenses for travel tournaments
* insurance and administrative expenses
* player profile information
* help with the college recruiting process: informational seminar(s), paperwork, videos, etc.
* coaches salaries and travel expenses
* skill clinics and open gym times throughout the season


Items not included in the total cost
* USAV/CHRVA registration - $40 - must be done PRIOR to tryouts
* transportation to touranments
* food at tournaments
* post season (after May 31) tournament travel and expenses if a team decides to attend a national event in June or July.







How to make payments - 2 options:

Check/Cash

Send a Payment Coupon with cash or check (payable to BAVA) to PO Box 208, Millersville, MD 21108.  Please take into account the time it takes for mail to be delivered.  A $35 fee will be applied for returned checks.

Credit Card
Visit the BAVA Online Payment Center.  Please note: the amounts listed in the BAVA Online Payment Center will be higher than those listed below.  The online payment option includes a transaction fee and 3% credit card fee from Visa/MasterCard.

Financial Help
BAVA is unable to provide financial aid; however, fundraising options will be available to help offset the costs for the season.  Families with two players on BAVA teams will receive a 10% discount.  Families with three players on BAVA teams will receive a 15% discount.

 
BAVA Juniors Club Philosophy:
Bay Area Volleyball Academy is a non-profit Junior Olympic Volleyball club that is dedicated to providing an exceptional developmental and competitive volleyball experience for female players in Anne Arundel County and the surrounding counties. This program is committed to the community and promotes strong relationships between players, coaches, and parents. The Academy aims to challenge athletes to achieve their potential while developing skills needed to compete at a highly competitive level. Through participation and education, the program emphasizes the values of sportsmanship, character, self-discipline, and teamwork. It is the goal of the club for each athlete to attain the satisfaction and enjoyment of playing competitive volleyball but with a perspective recognizing balance in one’s personal life.
