BAVA RECRUITING TOOLS

BAVA offers specific help for players on our team with the recruiting process.  We will help with making your skills video, creating a year by year action plan for contacting college coaches, proactively network with coaches on your behalf.

BAVA’s recruiting resources are proprietary and you must be a player on a team to have access to the information.  Please contact the BAVA Recruiting Coordinator, Lauren Leventry, (bavarecruiting@gmail.com) if you need copies of this information.

Step #1 in the recruiting proces----tell your coach and parents you want to pursue volleyball in college! Your BAVA coaches will help  and guide you through the rest!

NCAA

Everything and anything you want to know about college sports can be found here! Items of interest found on this site: Guide for College Bound Athletes, differences between DI, DII, and DIII, recruiting calendars, and more!

NCAA Eligibility Center

All prospective college athletes should be registered here at the beginning of their junior year. This site tracks your eligibility to be a college athlete.

College Board

This site will give you a simple way to search for schools that meet certain criteria. Some of the criteria include size, distance from home, majors, sports, cost, etc.

University Athlete

If you are interested in playing volleyball in college, you should register at University Athlete. This is a free website where you create a volleyball profile, listing information about your volleyball experience, teams, education, etc. College coaches use this service to find players at the bigger tournaments. The initial information is loaded from the tournament websites, but additional information can be input by you. It is highly recommended that you add more information about yourself, it's free!

BeRecruited.com

If you are interested in playing volleyball in college, you should set up a profile on this website.
