ALL TOURNAMENTS ARE COMPLETELY OPTIONAL. Events are listed on this page and calendar simply for your convenience and cosideration. 

We encourage intermediate and advanced athletes to compete as much as they can, but all BAVA and non-BAVA tournaments are options. As needed, coaches will attend the Ocean City national qualifier weekends. Other tournaments do not currently have coaches assigned. Beach volleyball allows very little coaching during matches, so it's good for players to get used to competing on their own, as well. Coaches are available to attend other events for additional fees. 

Athletes will need to sign up for most tournaments with a partner. Coaches can help find partners, but we encourage families to do this on their own through talking at practices or through our BAVA Beach group chat in the SportsEngine app. Please download the SportsEngine app, and we will have more details loaded in there soon. 

Our coaches are available to attend a tournament with you! If this is something you are interested in, please email Coach Eric IN ADVANCE, so he can schedule himself and/or another coach. Coaches may be reserved up to one week before the event. Costs are based on doubles teams, and per tournament day, plus mileage (possibly lodging and flight for extremely long distances).
